Mutual of Omaha Implements FTNI Platform

Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co., a provider of individual and group products, has implemented of FTNI’s ETran ePayment solution. FTNI says Mutual of Omaha sought a vendor to support their credit card processing and maintain compliance with Payment Card Industry regulations for the secure processing of policyholder premium payments via credit card.

While payment security was critical, Mutual of Omaha also was seeking a solution to process Web-initiated premium payments and to have all credit card payments posted to the policyholder’s account, without manual intervention, says FTNI. The ETran platform was designed to incorporate PCI-compliant credit card processing, check scanning and ACH processing on a single, managed platform to help clients reduce costs, accelerate timelines and improve transaction processing quality.

“Providing a PCI-compliant solution that streamlines the payment clearing and posting operation while reducing risk results in savings to [Mutual of Omaha’s] bottom line,” says Kurt M. Matis, president of FTNI.
