Prior to joining Narragansett Bay, Voss worked as VP of claims for Homesite Insurance Inc., where he headed the property/casualty claims operation. He was principally responsible for building the company's claims department from the ground up to an operation that today handles 500,000 customers in 48 states. The automated claims system that he developed dramatically streamlined claims handling processes and increased adjuster proficiency.
Voss also worked for Nationwide Insurance of Frederick, Md., in claims management positions including Claims Market Manager, Claims Manager, and Large Loss Adjuster. He also served as State Catastrophe Coordinator where he managed Nationwide's local storm response.
Voss also has significant experience with fire and water damage, having owned and operated his own home improvement and remodeling company.
"Having a claims executive with experience that ranges from actually performing fire and water clean up, to developing a claims operation from the ground up with proven success, will help Narragansett Bay become a market leader in both managing claims and preventing losses," said Khosropur.
