NetApp Picks Up Terremark’s Enterprise Cloud Services

NetApp, a provider of storage and data management solutions, is using Enterprise Cloud from Terremark, a Verizon company.

Enterprise Cloud is designed to improve the speed, responsiveness and efficiency of pre- and post-sales support for Terremark’s customers. Terremark says NetApp is leveraging the public and private cloud resources to develop and host a variety of tools to improve the effectiveness of system engineering and professional service teams.

NetApp selected the Enterprise Cloud service, according to Terremark, to improve its business agility and deliver new capabilities. The addition of CloudSwitch software aims to enable customers to extend new and legacy infrastructure to create a hybrid model for their IT systems.

Terremark says its enterprise-class cloud computing services feature service-level agreement levels, security models, professional services and data centers that allow organizations to run their critical applications in the cloud.
