State College, Pa. — Optical Image Technology Inc., (OIT) announced the appointment of Greg Cook from Michigan Millers Mutual Insurance Co. as the new co-convener of OIT's Technical Advisory Panel (TAP). TAP is comprised of 20 current customers from a variety of industries as well as technology partners who share market insight, exchange knowledge and ideas, and provide suggestions for enhancing DocFinity products and services to designated OIT staff. Two seasoned DocFinity users also are joining TAP, and will broaden the knowledge base of the advisory group. The leaders and members were elected by the panel members late in 2007.

TAP members voted in their new co-convener this past quarter when Shelley Butler, document management consultant for Penn State and OIT's TAP co-convener since July 2007, had to step down from the leadership role due to the rapid growth in demand for DocFinity imaging services at the university campuses. Greg Cook, imaging support technician from Michigan Millers Mutual Insurance Co., who has been a TAP member since July 2007 and has proven to be a valuable and active participant, takes her place. OIT and TAP look forward to the input and vision that he and Steve Emrick, CDIA+ of Broadcast Music Inc., the panel's other co-convener, will share through the Technical Advisory Panel.
