Oregon Mutual Insurance Co. (OMI) has selected MajescoMastek’s STG Suite to replace and consolidate its existing core insurance systems, including policy administration, billing and claims. STG Suite is a product from MajescoMastek, a provider of insurance systems and services to P&C and life insurance carriers.
STG Suite offers policy processing for P&C carriers and includes policy, billing, claims, rating, underwriting workbench and insurance toolkit, MajescoMastek said. It is deployed as a product, managed service or on a private cloud. OMI will deploy the solution on a cloud environment, enabling a fast time to production, with a secure technology infrastructure.
Key factors in OMI’s choice of the STG Suite include a core platform for use across all lines of business; processing for rating, underwriting, policy administration, billing, accounts receivables, and claims administration; and a single provider for software implementation and hosting services, said MajescoMastek. Other factors include a platform that allows for changes to insurance content, business processes and user interface without scripting; and the ability to consume, maintain and update ISO regulatory content using electronic rating content.
