P&C insurer Texas FAIR Plan Association (TFPA) has selected Guidewire’s Gateway Portal for enhanced agent self-service capabilities, the company recently announced.
Guidewire's PartnerConnect and Ready for Guidewire platforms will help deploy TFPA’s new customer and business communications. TFPA has no agents of its own. Instead, around 11,000 agents in the state of Texas are liscensed to write and distribute TFPA policies, according to the company.
The insurer offers basic residential property insurance to clients who cannot obtain coverage in the voluntary market. TFPA joins QBE North America, Riverstone and Hartford Mutual Insurance, among others, as Guidewire customers.
