PMA Insurance Group, a P&C insurer specializing in workers' compensation, has selected OneShield Billing to enhance its current payments system.
OneShield Billing is a billing and receivables system for P&C insurers across all commercial, personal and specialty lines that is intended to simplify and automates the billing lifecycle, from processing invoices and reconciliations, to creating tasks and detailed reporting, OneShield said.
"Along with adding capabilities such as automated credit card payment processing, we are looking to enhance our legacy system's processing and workflow perspectives," says Susan Hendricks, PMA's VP of Information Systems. "OneShield has a long-standing relationship with PMA, and it has knowledge of PMA's current premium billing processes along with an understanding of PMA as an organization."
OneShield Billing is designed for enterprise billing handling, OneShield said. The application is configurable and enables insurers to design their own workflows and automate manual tasks throughout the billing lifecycle.
