Atlantic Financial Group has named Gregory Raines, a 25-year financial services industry veteran, its new president. Raines will be responsible for all of the firm's securities operations, including practice management, recruiting, rep relations and risk management.
Atlantic Financial Group, founded in 1998 as a subsidiary of Duncan Financial Group, is the largest division within Tower Square Securities, an affiliate of MetLife. Atlantic Financial provides strategic financial products and services to brokers, advisors and planners on a regional basis.
"We are very fortunate to have Greg Raines on board," said David Duncan, CEO of Duncan Financial Group. "He will work closely with Atlantic Financial's CEO Bill Shelow. With Greg leading the charge, we are looking forward to continued growth and very excited about the future."
Raines most recently served as national director of field development for the individual broker-dealers operating within The MetLife Broker-Dealer Group. While there, he was responsible for recruiting, retention, transition and field development.
