Boston — The U.S. division of
Leading SLFD, Shunney will oversee annuity wholesaler productivity and head development of Sun Life’s distribution operations. In addition to his duties as SLFD president, he will continue to serve as SVP and GM, Sun Life Financial Distribution Group.
In February, Shunney was chosen to lead the company’s distribution group, a newly formed sales organization comprised of the company’s employee benefits group distribution organization and SLFD. Prior to this role, Shunney headed Sun Life’s employee benefits group as SVP and GM, group insurance.
