SOA says its Portfolio Manager, Repository Manager, Policy Manager and Service Manager—the core of the company’s Integrated SOA Governance Automation solution—all run on VMware. The product set enables SOA governance, SOA security and SOA management across the complete service lifecycle, from planning through development and production deployment. The products allow connection to and control of SOA platform components, including enterprise service buses from multiple vendors.
Many customers are leveraging datacenter automation solutions to create an internal cloud operating model for dynamic scaling of their runtime environments, says SOA. The company’s network director is suited for this type of deployment, offering the ability to add and remove instances from clusters dynamically as needed.
In addition, SOA Software has become a VMware partner participating in VMware’s Technology Alliance Program (TAP). SOA says its TAP qualification validates the deployment of all of its products on VMware vSphere virtual machines (VMs), the virtualization platform for building cloud infrastructure.
