STARS to Launch New Version of its Cloud-Based Platform

STARS, a company offering risk, safety and claims management software, analytics and services, and a business unit of Marsh LLC, has released STARS 14.0, the newest version of its cloud-based platform.

STARS 14.0 includes a risk relationship management application designed to give risk, safety and claims professionals the capabilities to engage key contacts within their risk networks. It also auto-populates contact data and checks for duplicates.

STARS 14.0 enables customers to define a contact’s relationship and link that contact to specific claims and incidents, the company said. This allows the connection of contacts to risk-related exposure data and an analyzing of potential loss costs. Users can implement the Intake application for iPad and Android tablets, for the reporting of incidents and claims, and attachment of related photos in real time. Other capabilities include increased access; global client support; and improved compliance.

STARS is bringing the industry’s first risk relationship management application to market, the company said. STARS 14.0 users can build strong relationships with key stakeholders and obtain a more complete risk picture after an incident occurs. This should result in faster claim payments, reduced errors, and lowered overall risk.
