SunGard has launched iWorks Enterprise Financials, a business intelligence tool designed to give insurers the ability to turn raw financial data into insights and analysis for investments, risk and compliance.
SunGard says iWorks Enterprise Financials aims to give executives and managers the ability to extract and assemble data into charts, graphs, scorecards and dashboards, helping them to improve access to additional investment options; provide visibility across multiple investment portfolios; clarify enterprise compliance, financial and investment risks; and provide communication with regulators, shareholders and agencies.
Other potential benefits include return on investment from compliance and risk management efforts, as well as accuracy, speed and effectiveness of reporting, according to the technology provider.
