SWBC, a company offering insurance, mortgage and investment services to financial institutions, businesses and individuals, has selected Mphasis, an IT services company, to begin delivering offshore Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services.
SWBC uses Mphasis for managing complex data validation processes for the company’s lender-placed insurance business. Mphasis has experience in delivering BPO services with domain knowledge in the insurance sector, said SWBC.
In the first few months, SWBC shortened the cycle time from two or three days to one day, said the company. SWBC is seeing consistent improvement in its overall accuracy month over month.
“This is a critical juncture for us as we continue to grow at a rapid pace and are looking to build an even stronger technology foundation for future growth,” said Mark Ulmer, Executive Vice President of Lender Placed Insurance Operations at SWBC.
