The Hanover Insurance Group Inc. has added several business owners policy (BOP) and commercial package policy (CPP) upgrades for its technology product suite. The additions are designed to help agents meet a growing demand for insurance protection for technology companies.

The Hanover says that, through Technology Advantage, its agent partners can meet technology business challenges in 125 classes that include the information technology, electronics manufacturing, and telecommunication service provider industries. The solution combines coverages, experience and risk management solutions to help technology companies protect against risk.

The Hanover adds that it offers BOP and CPP broadening endorsements that provide coverage extensions, and the policy can be customized to include umbrella, professional liability, workers' compensation and commercial auto. BOP and CPP changes include three levels of BOP broadening endorsements; three property broadening endorsements that have been specifically tailored; and a first party data breach.
