During the past 11 years, Trotta was the senior sales and new business development executive at VPA Inc., which was acquired by Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Calabasas, Calif., in 2006. While at VPA, he developed and implemented many of the products and supporting management processes to grow VPA as a leader in benefits administration outsourcing. At Sedgwick, he directed the team of account executives responsible for disability benefit and leave of absence accounts including program design, consulting, analytics and performance metrics. Prior to joining VPA, Trotta was the chief financial officer for CORE Inc.
