United Fire Group has selected the Jarus Mobile solution for the implementation of self-service mobile applications for its agents and policyholders.

Jarus Agent Center and Jarus Customer Center native applications are designed to be customizable, ready-to-deploy for iPhone, Android and Windows phone devices. Features include policy inquiry, online payment, quoting, accident help, submit a claim, policy documents and auto ID cards.

United Fire Group will customize and brand two apps targeting life and P&C agents, and a policyholder app. Jarus Mobile API is a set of standards based on RESTful services, which facilitate multiple devices, using different languages and technologies to communicate with the carrier back-end in a secure manner, the company said.
