“We chose Robin Cloud Platform because it allowed us to simplify and automate how our analytic pipeline is managed,” said Eric Smith, USAA's chief data and analytics officer. “Our Big Data infrastructure has been growing dramatically, and we needed a solution that made it easy to manage and scale these applications that was also consistent with our cloud roadmap. Robin checked all these boxes, and we have been very pleased so far with the efficiency and agility improvements achieved with their platform.”

USAA has been aggressive in leveraging big data and digital interactions to provide a better experience for its customer base of military members and their families. This includes explorations of biometrics and AI. It's also aggressively expanding its technology footprint, adding nearly 1,000 jobs in Phoenix this year and opening a digital design studio in Austin last year.
