Utica National Introduces Mobile App

The Utica National Insurance Group is teaming up with AT&T to provide a mobile app, which the company calls “Mobile AdvantEDGE,” offering a variety of insurance resources and information.

According to AT&T, policyholders will be able to make payments, report new claims or check the status of existing ones, obtain roadside services, contact an agent and access other informative resources from mobile devices by using the app.

"We created this all-in-one mobile application to put insurance and safety information at our policyholders' fingertips, so we can help them from virtually any location or at any time," said Mike Cookson, Internet Development Manager with Utica National. "AT&T's mobile platform makes this instant delivery possible and gives us the opportunity to enhance this application's offerings as our customers' needs evolve."

The service will be built with AT&T's Mobile Enterprise Applications Platform, and according to the company, will be available across the major mobile platforms, including Android and Blackberry.
