West Bend Mutual Insurance Co., a P&C insurance company, is has selected Accenture’s Duck Creek Policy and Duck Creek Billing software. West Bend offers insurance services to home, auto and business owners.
Accenture’s Duck Creek software is helping West Bend streamline operations around its commercial, personal, specialty insurance (NSI), and Argent (workers’ compensation) lines of business. West Bend will be able to offer its independent insurance agents streamlined operations, increased flexibility and accelerated product development. Real-time access to policy and billing information increases agility, allowing West Bend to adjust and introduce new products. Online billing capabilities are improved as well.
West Bend expects to drastically improve its internal efficiency and become more competitive in its product pricing. In its segment of the business, specialty lines, it makes sense to expand and grow geographically. West Bend expects that the implementation of Duck Creek will open up options for adding new states and improving its product line, said West Bend.
