West Bend Mutual Insurance Co., which offers P&C insurance products, has selected the Sapiens Reinsurance application from Sapiens International Corp. Sapiens offers software applications for the insurance industry.
Sapiens Reinsurance is a business and accounting application designed to support reinsurance contracts and activities for all lines of business. The software product enables insurers and brokers to handle reinsurance activities on a single platform.
Sapiens’ application will enable West Bend to manage and control its reinsurance business and related processes. West Bend selected Sapiens Reinsurance based on its functions and ability to adhere to tight timelines. The implementation already is underway, with the launch planned for the end of 2014.
