Western National Insurance Group, a private mutual P&C insurer, has selected Valen Analytics’ InsureRight Platform to gain insights into the risks associated with workers’ compensation policies.
“The analytics platform from Valen will be a valuable tool to supplement our group’s individual-risk-underwriting efforts,” said Justin Morgan, director of analytics at Western National. “We look forward to utilizing InsureRight to bring the best possible product to our existing underwriting process, for the continued benefit of our policyholders and agency partners.”
Western National’s team of underwriters intends to utilize the Predict feature of InsureRight for added visibility into each risk, Valen said, adding that the platform is powered by Valen’s contributory database, which was built specifically for predictive analytics.
