Wyde Joins ISO Electronic Rating Content Associates Program

Wyde Corp., a provider of core insurance systems, has joined the ISO Electronic Rating Content Associates Program, which was designed to enable Wyde customers using ISO rating to stay up to date with numerous ISO circulars instead of having to analyze and interpret them. Wyde says users of its Wynsure system will receive updates to loss costs, rules and policy forms. ISO typically makes 3,000 to 4,000 program changes per year in commercial lines and thousands more in personal lines.

The program enables vendors to upload ISO’s rating content into their policy administration systems, as well as provide vendors with the implementation-level details built into ISO Electronic Rating Content, says Wyde. These details will be built into Wynsure and will include premium calculations, forms attachment logic, premium statistical code assignment according to ISO’s full statistical plan, and validation messages.

“This lets us offer our clients the advantage of product configurability in Wynsure within a structure of ISO loss costs and factors,” says Didier Lamour, CEO of Wyde North America. “Our clients will save money, and it will be easy for them to stay in compliance with ISO."
