“Since 2005, York has more than doubled in size and added numerous services for its customers,” MacArthur says. “We have also completed six acquisitions and, along with the rest of the industry, entered into a far more complex operating environment. I have worked with Tony in a number of capacities over the years, most recently as a member of our board of directors, and his wealth of experience in insurance services and focus on serving customers will deepen our management capacity and position us for continued strong growth.”

In addition to being a current member of York’s board of directors, Galioto has had extensive prior experience with York and its services. From 1996 to 2000, he was president of AIG Insurance Services Inc., as well as head of AIG’s managed care and RMIS, which are services also offered by York today. In 2006, he was named senior executive – East, AIG Cos., where he led cross-sell efforts for all of AIG’s products.

“I am very excited to be joining York, especially at this point in time,” Galioto says. "It is a strong company, and is well positioned to grow in this environment. York has great customers, committed and experienced employees, and a strong customer service focus that I share. I look forward to leading York’s very talented management team and continuing to work with Tom and the Board."
