Zurich Selects Procurian and Genpact Procurement Applications

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. has purchased Procurian's Specialized Procurement Infrastructure, a global Source-to-Pay solution, and Genpact’s Smart Enterprise Processes framework. The applications are intended to help Zurich and its subsidiaries reduce costs and optimize spending in the areas of IT, professional services, marketing, HR, facilities and travel.

Procurian and Genpact are partnered to help clients “transform procurement into a strategic function that delivers measurable savings and fuels growth,” according to a press release. Zurich expects to benefit from Procurian’s infrastructure powered by deep supply market intelligence and Genpact’s track record of maximizing the effectiveness of source-to-pay processes and domain expertise in the insurance industry, the release said.

“This contract brings together all of the elements required to extract value from a company's source-to-pay activities on a truly global scale, including the expertise to address all spend and capabilities and deploy an integrated solution across the client's worldwide operations," said Bill Huber, partner, Information Services Group.
