Camilion Climbs in List of Top 250 Canadian Tech Companies

Insurance software solutions provider Camilion Solutions reports that it has been named one of the Top 250 technology companies in Canada in the 2009 edition of the Branham300. The Branham 300 is considered the premiere ranking that defines Who's Who in Canadian IT. Climbing 24 positions in this year’s Top 250, Camilion joins Celestica, CGI, Open Text, and Research in Motion in this ranking.

"Camilion leveraged its core strengths and achieved considerable growth over the course of 2008," said Wayne Gudbranson, president and CEO of Branham Group. "Increasing revenues by 50% to reach its highest position on the Top 250 in the company's history is a considerable achievement in a time of economic uncertainty."

Despite a difficult economy, Camilion expects steady growth as existing customers continue to provide additional business and others adopt their flagship product development and management solution, ProductAuthority, and their modern P&C policy administration system, Authority Suite, which is recognized by industry analysts for its flexible, modern technology platform. Camilion is currently hiring in all areas of its business, and has just contracted to double its office space within the next year.

"Being ranked by Branham Group for the fifth straight year is a reflection of our focus and employees’ commitment to the markets we serve," said Ross Orrett, president and CEO, Camilion Solutions. "Camilion is enjoying strong financial health, and is poised to exponentially grow its revenue for this fiscal year (July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009). With solutions that enable both large and mid-sized insurers to reduce costs, accelerate product time to market, and make it easier for producers to do business with them, we're confident that this growth will continue.
