Milwaukee, Wisconsin--COSS Development Corporation, a specialist in illustration and point of sale systems for the financial services industry, has released Journey 2004. Journey is COSS' premier needs-based financial modeling software. The new 2004 version, for both Web and desktop, is now being distributed to current users as an upgrade.

Journey includes eleven integrated planning modules dealing with such topics as retirement, survivorship planning, funding for college and basic financial needs analysis. The new version for 2004 includes an enhanced user interface, planning hints, expanded interview brochures, easy to follow reports including a financial inventory and fact finder. Income tax and Social Security tables have also been updated for 2004.

Journey 2004 may be licensed by insurance carriers for distribution to their sales force. It may also be integrated to transfer data directly to other appropriate planning and analytical systems via ACORD standards to achieve straight-through processing with a company's enterprise planning system delivered via Web or desktop.
