Grange Insurance Hires Chase Vet as new Company CIO

Grange Insurance has announced Tim Cunningham as the company’s new vice president and chief information officer.

Cunningham comes to Grange by way of JP Morgan Chase, where he served as chief technology officer and managing director of retail technology services, in charge of digital and mobile strategies. He is also responsible for the implementation of both electronic payment processing and mobile deposit capture services offered by Chase to its customers.

"Technology changes at a rapid pace, and Tim is exceptionally skilled at not just keeping up with trends, but being ahead of the curve," said Grange Insurance chief operations officer Doreen DeLaney Crawley, in a press release. "I'm confident that his expertise will expand the company's technology capabilities and advance our digital strategies."

Before his time at JP Morgan, Cunningham spent the majority of his career at Bank One until the two companies merged in 2004. He brings nearly 30 years of tech experience to his new position at Grange, which offers auto, home, life and business insurance. The Columbus, Ohio-based organization currently carries $2 billion in assets and generates $1 billion in annual revenue.

"Under Tim's leadership, I look forward to evolving our technology to deliver excellent digital service and ease of doing business for our agents and customers," said John Ammendola, president and CEO of Grange.
