Guidewire Software Inc. has launched the Guidewire InsuranceCloud Solutions partner program. The company said that selected Guidewire PartnerConnect consulting partners now would be able to deliver cloud-based applications that combine Guidewire products with their own content and services, as well as complementary third-party products in a hosted environment. Inaugural partners include Capgemini, EY and PwC.

Guidewire InsuranceCloud Solutions partners offer technology delivery options to emerging and mid-size P/C insurers that previously may have hesitated to take on large-scale IT projects, Guidewire said, while also offering an option to larger insurers looking to expand into new markets quickly.

“Guidewire has continually listened to its customers and the broader industry,” said Karen Furtado, partner, Strategy Meets Action. “The move to a cloud core system environment is gaining traction in the industry and we anticipate insurers looking to accelerate their implementations and lower their costs will respond favourably to such an offering from Guidewire and its ecosystem of capable partners.”

These InsuranceCloud Solutions offer a technology platform for core operations, digital interactions with customers and agents and improved decision-making, Guidewire said. In addition, it offers options including reduced implementation times; lower total cost of ownership; and increased flexibility for IT expertise.

“Our Guidewire InsuranceCloud Solutions partners have been selected for their in-depth knowledge of Property/Casualty insurance, Guidewire technology, and complementary third-party products as well as their expertise in managing production environments,” said Brian Vannoni, VP and business owner, core systems, Guidewire Software. “We are excited to offer our customers new delivery options by bringing together our software and our partner network’s hosting and managed services capabilities.”
