Insurity acquires SpatialKey with eye on disaster analytics

Insurity has acquired SpatialKey, Inc., as of December 30, with a goal of strengthening its data and analytics offerings when client insurers respond to disasters.

SpatialKey provides geospatial analytics, data, and risk intelligence solutions for the P&C insurance industry. The combined company will bring together insured data, other expert data sources, and insurance-specific analytics and visualization to provide immediate, actionable insights that drive healthier portfolios, operations, and profits, the companies say.
