Ironshore Names SVP of Reinsurance, Head of Casualty Unit

Ironshore Inc. recently announced the appointment of Andrew Archambault as SVP of Reinsurance. In this new role, he will develop and manage Ironshore’s Ceded Reinsurance Programs with responsibility for the oversight, development and administration of all ceded reinsurance functions. Archambault is based out of Boston, and reports to Shaun Kelly, CEO of Ironshore’s U.S. operations.

Prior to joining Ironshore, Archambault spent more than 31 years in the reinsurance industry where he held various reinsurance and management positions. Most recently, he was SVP of Reinsurance at Lexington Insurance Co.

“We are pleased to have Andrew on the Ironshore team,” says Shaun Kelly. "His extensive knowledge of and relationships within the reinsurance market will be a great asset to our organization."

Ironshore also appointed Anthony Mammolite as EVP of its U.S. Property unit. Mammolite will provide strategic direction and oversight in the development of Ironshore’s U.S. Property operations. Ironshore’s property unit focuses on broker-sourced specialty commercial business.

Mammolite has more than 35 years of underwriting and field marketing positions, including over 20 years in property lines. Most recently, he served as SVP of Property for Lexington Insurance Co. Prior to that, he held various senior level management positions for AIG in the greater New York area.

“Adding Tony to our all ready formidable property team will accelerate our capabilities within the United States,” Kelly says. “We are excited to have him onboard, and look forward to his contributions to the Ironshore organization.”
