Simsbury, Conn. - The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., appointed Terry Walker as senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO) for its Hartford Life Inc., subsidiary.
Walker, formerly head of technology for Hartford Life's Group Benefits Division, is now responsible for leading the life insurer's enterprise-wide technology advancements.
Walker joined Hartford Life in 2000 as a director in the Investment Products Division. In his newest role, he will oversee management of enterprise-wide technology projects such as risk management technology initiatives and the consolidation of technology infrastructure.
