Westfield Insurance has selected Duck Creek On-Demand to enhance the P&C insurer’s underwriting practices and expedite product development, the companies announced today.
With the move, Westfield leverages Duck Creek’s cloud technology to improve agent and customer experience. The Ohio-based carrier will adopt Duck Creek’s software for policy and rating, which will initially support Westfield’s commercial auto, property, general liability, inland marine, and workers’ compensation lines of business.
“As our customers’ needs continue to evolve, we need a modern system with the flexibility to allow us to quickly adapt and respond,” said Beth Riczko, group underwriting and product leader at Westfield Insurance, in a statement. “After a thorough evaluation, we selected Duck Creek because they understand our needs and have the right technology to enable us to continually innovate.”
