"The new design enables AIG to communicate more effectively and fosters stronger and more efficient engagement with clients, distribution partners, shareholders and other stakeholders," said Lucy Fato, executive vice president and global head of communications, AIG, in a written statement.

The new "myAIG Broker Portal" will phase in brokers and agents throughout 2023, according to the company, with more capabilities and improvements also being added throughout the year. The company expects to make the new capabilities available globally through the portal starting in early 2024.

The broker portal was designed based on research about AIG's customers' needs, along with input from AIG's Broker Advisory group, comprised of its most active insurance trading partners.

"We have reimagined myAIG as AIG's digital front door to our e-commerce ecosystem, providing brokers access to important middle-to-back-office enhancements in our commercial underwriting platform and to other digital improvements and system integration," said Claude Wade, executive vice president, global head of operations and shared services and chief digital officer, AIG, in a statement.

The changes to AIG's website were based on research by the company's marketing team. The changes are intended to position AIG as a market leader in global property and casualty insurance, highlighting its expertise and capabilities.

AIG's website and Broker Portal now include:

  • myAIG serving as a "single digital front door into AIG."
  • Improved secure portal login, including adaptive multi-factor authentication.
  • Historic views of clients' losses in reports allowing brokers to better understand insureds' risks and premiums.
  • Account views showing clients' relationships and coverages with AIG.
  • Tracker of client activity including renewals, billings and claims.
